I became interested in the Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) movement in 2019. The idea of escaping the 9 to 5 and being more in control of my finances really resonated with me, and now I help people to achieve a similar objective.
Like a lot of people I became disillusioned with financial advisors both in terms of what they were advising and the fees they were charging. I felt that there was a more cost effective and transparent way to help people set and achieve both financial and life goals – hence this website and my YouTube channel.
I have coached dozens of people, helping them to get greater understanding around their finances and what they can achieve in later life. I have helped people to learn how they can use what they already have saved to achieve their dreams through proper planning and investing.
How I coach
I offer a unique approach to retirement planning in that you have permanent access to a retirement calculator spreadsheet and I work with you to populate and optimise the spreadsheet for your specific circumstances.
My coaching is based around bringing your finances to life so that you can easily visualise your income and wealth over time.
I help people to understand their finances in more detail, both now and into the future. I also help with optimising the tax that you pay through efficient investment strategies whilst working and through optimised drawdown strategies in retirement.
I use google sheets which is a free online tool. This means that you have lifetime access to your data and you can run unlimited scenarios for your finances.
As a coach I only offer information and guidance, I do not give advice. This means that I have no financial products to sell and I am not paid commission so I only have your best interests to consider.

I believe in full transparency and my charges are £150 per 40 minute zoom call with relevant spreadsheets included for free.
